Senior Research Associate

Operating at the Radboud University Medical Center, Tagworks pioneers unique approaches towards antibody-drug conjugates, prodrugs, and targeted radiotherapeutics through its "Click-to-Release'' platform, rooted in Nobel Prize-winning research. To further strengthen the organization, we are looking for a Senior Research Associate.

The position
As Senior Research Associate you are part of a team of Scientists and Research Associates with whom you closely collaborate. You strengthen the team with your up-to-date experience in the field of in-vitro and in-vivo experiments, protein functionalization, purification and characterization. Your activities range from designing experiments, writing protocols, conducting animal experiments. Moreover, you will assist in chemical protein modification, analysis and purification by chromatography techniques, protein binding kinetics and other biochemical analysis methods like SDS-PAGE. You also support lab activities e.g. stability or compatibility studies. You use your knowledge of safety and lab procedures to ensure that our laboratory operations run smoothly. You perform your work in a small project team focusing on developing our next generation antibody drug conjugates in a growing laboratory environment with state of the art lab equipment. You document your lab work accurately and write protocols and SOPs. You contribute to advancing Tagworks’ pipeline and to educate and help your colleagues.

The requirements
You keep a BSc or MSc education with a minimum of 5 years work experience in either biotech/pharma or at CROs. Experience with developing therapeutic ADC’s and/or click-chemistry is favorable. You are experienced in in-vitro and in-vivo experiments and you keep an article 9 certification. You bring experience in protein functionalization, purification and characterization and have at least some experience with handling FPLC/HPLC systems and working with software applications for data analysis like GraphPad Prism. You are self-starting, well-organized and can handle several projects simultaneously. You are service-oriented and you conduct your work with precision and accuracy. You have excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working effectively with research partners and/or CROs. You are familiar with maintaining a quality system, which includes adhering to procedures and documenting results. You are able to work according to tight timelines while keeping your flexibility.
